DESCRIPTION

This white tea cup and saucer previously worked in a cafe and has now been upcycled and is looking for a new home. It is Vittoria brand and has the Vittoria logo on the inside of the cup (see fourth photo), a small reminder of it's previous life.

It has the Charles Darwin quote below hand inked using porcelain inks and has been fired in my little studio.

On the cup is "Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge"

And on the saucer is "It is those who know little, and not those who know much, who so positively assert that this or that problem will never be solved by science" - Charles Darwin

The ink is microwave/dishwasher safe. If handwashing - please do not use a harsh cleaning brush or scourer.
