I am passionate about ethical production. I have seen first hand that when you pay someone in the developing world fairly for a days work, it can actually change their life. Its not much, maybe an extra $2 a day but it makes a huge difference. When the pressures of food shelter and education are taken away, people care about their environment and their communities. I have seen people go from having nothing to owning land and building houses for themselves and their families, thus empowering them. I feel so blessed to be a part of these peoples lives and the joy I feel when I am in their presence is overwhelming. I am grateful everyday for them opening their hearts and homes to me and allowing me to start my little business with their help, they trusted me and had faith in what I was doing. When they had nothing they gave me everything and I will be forever grateful and joyful that they did. What a lucky girl I am!
