Linnea – Swedish Design was created in Melbourne, by Swedish born designer/artist Linnea. She works out of her Melbourne studio where she designs, screenprints and creates all her products. Linnea gets a lot of inspiration from nature and her Scandinavian background comes through in her designs. Her love for beautiful fabric and screenprinting is evident in the quality of her products, which range from notebooks and bags to cushions and wall art.

Behind the scenes

Linnea takes great pleasure in being involved in every single part of the creative process of all her products, creating unique handmade pieces that she hopes you will love! All ‘Linnea – Swedish Design’ products are designed, drawn, cut, screenprinted, sewn/glued/stapled and packaged with love and care by hand. The process of creating each product begins with a hand drawn illustration or a typographic print, which is made into a stencil. The designs are then hand screen printed onto a cotton fabric using water based inks. From this Linnea create a range of different products, like bags, cushions, notebooks and wall art. It is important for her that the process used in making these products is sustainable and that it will have minimal impact on the environment. The products she creates reflect her passion and appreciation for design, quality and nature.
