Kanimbla Clays homewares and lights are all designed and handmade by myself, Helen Hay, in my workshop which is situated in the lovely Kanimbla Valley. My products have a beautiful, organic, handmade feel about them, whilst maintaining a high standard of quality.
Behind the scenes
All the making is done in my workshop out here in the Kanimbla Valley. I am surrounded by bush, mountains and amazing flora and fauna, all of which provides me with the most inspiring environment to work in. I fire my work to a high temperature of 1300 which gives each piece durability and strength. All of my products are made using porcelain, and I use natural oxides to colour my clay.
