indeco's nutmeg mill, designed and hand made in Tasmania features a stainless steel mechanism (mechanism is also an indeco design, made in Tasmania), hand polished stainless steel handle with individually hand turned knob.
The durability of an all stainless steel mechanism makes 'Meg's mill' first choice for professional cooks/chefs the world over.

'Meg's mill' is strictly speaking not a nutmeg "grinder" because the nutmeg is shaved rather than ground as it passes over the blades.

Ground nutmeg deteriorates very quickly that is why we recommend using 'Meg's mill' to shave off quantities as required.

Nutmeg may be used in both sweet and savoury dishes from artichokes to zucchini, and of course not forgetting Mieke's sublime mashed potato.

'Meg's mill' nutmeg mill may also be used for shaving shelled macadamia nuts. It works a treat!
