A limited edition hand-embroidered brooch inspired by life at a beautiful tree house in the country.

This lovely little piece is part of my new city versus country series of hand-stitched brooches inspired by my split life between the city I love and a beautiful little tree house in the country.

Laughing duck is by far the cheekiest duck in the country. He spends his time wandering aimlessly and loves nothing more than to wake up the valley with his boisterous laugh throughout the night.

Measures approx. 2.5 x 3.5cm.

Hand-embroidered with DMC thread onto linen, backed with floral re-purposed upholstery fabric and eco felt, a high quality fibre made from recycled PET bottles. A brooch pin is stitched to the back.

These brooches are mini artworks made with love, treat with care :)

Because laughing duck is 100% hand-stitched no two brooches are alike due to slight variation in stitching.
