Wanderlust is the brainchild of Trish Stenzel, the designer behind the successful Miss Fancypants vintage inspired swimwear and underwear label. Wanderlust is a retro infused lifestyle collection specifically designed with travel in mind, handmade the good old fashioned way! Perfect for layering, dressing up or down, it will take you from day to night, from beach to bar and beyond. The collection features timeless pieces made from travel friendly fabrics. Many designs are multi functional, giving you many different looks from just the one garment. The collection does not follow trends, rather, it is specifically designed to transcend seasons. Each carefully designed piece is aimed at becoming a well loved staple in your wardrobe and your travels for years to come. Wanderlust is an antidote to fast consumerism that inherently embodies the nature of seasonal collections. Instead, wanderlust encourages the thoughtful purchasing of garments that are designed to become classic staples in ones wardrobe that easily blend into seasons for years to come. Wanderlust does not try to dictate or follow fashion trends.

Wanderlust - Definition: wan·der·lust (w n d r-l st ). n. A very strong or irresistible impulse to travel. The definition perfectly sums up the free spirited nature that has seen the New Zealand Designer Trish Stenzel, travel, live and work around the globe. Her love for travelling and the coastal lifestyle are the true source of inspiration behind the label and so aptly the name Wanderlust was chosen. The Wanderlust Collection is currently handmade by the designer herself in Newcastle, Australia. All my Wanderlust Clothing garments are hand made by myself and can be made to order to your measurements if required. Hand making all my garments and directly selling through my market stall and through my involvement with a artist and designers co-op store in Newcastle, really allows me to connect with my customers. I have found there is a real appreciation for the fact that I handmake everything. My customers love the fact that I am not a cookie cutter mass producer. It might take a little longer, but my customers have told me it is worth it!
